About Me
Although I now live in North Carolina, I grew up in California and graduated from California State University, Northridge with a major in Business Administration/Human Resource Management. I spent 13 years in Corporate America and have extensive experience in individual contributor and management positions. One challenge I enjoyed in all my positions was solving complex problems by breaking them down into understandable and workable pieces. That background was helpful experience for me, because now I’m told I can explain complex spiritual concepts in an easily understandable manner.
After leaving corporate America, I did some consulting work in the area of Customer Satisfaction and gave group and individual training sessions in the Myers-Briggs (personality) Type Indicator (MBTI). Learning about personality types was a true gift for me. It made me very aware of how I view myself and my world and that others are viewing their worlds in completely different ways. I find this knowledge invaluable in all aspects of my work and in life in general.
Later, I found myself on an amazing journey, exploring and discovering worlds and realities I had never even dreamt of before. Slowly, I began to walk my spiritual path consciously. I studied the concept of the shadow (as introduced by Dr. Carl Jung) and did extensive work on shadow integration. (I find my shadow discoveries are never complete, but at least I can bring more of a sense of humor to them these days.) I pursued and studied traditional and complementary healing modalities and was qualified as a Second Degree Reiki Practitioner in the Usui Reiki System of Natural Healing. I also became a first-degree initiate in mystical Kabalah through the Karin Kabalah Center. My Kabalah studies gave me a much broader view of our Universe and of Spirit.
My passion for learning about spiritual self healing and integration of the mind, body, spirit eventually took me to the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology (ITP), and I graduated with a Master's Degree in Transpersonal Studies. I am very grateful for those years. For the first time in my life, I felt in flow with the rest of the universe! Because of my studies at ITP, I now have a more informed view of diverse spiritual traditions and a greater respect for them. I also have a greater understanding that mind, body, and spirit cannot be separated—a truth I experienced once again when I attended the 21-Day Oneness Process at the Oneness University in India. One of the reasons I enjoy sharing Divine Presence and the Oneness Blessing so much is that I find them to be truly holistic in their approach.
If I can assist you on your journey by providing spiritual teachings through Divine Presence, the Oneness Blessing, a Personal Meditation, or an inspirational Message From Spirit, please email me at AHannich@bellsouth.net or call me at (919) 460-3028.
I leave you now with another one of my favorite quotes:
Once a young woman asked Hafiz, “What is the sign of someone knowing God?” Hafiz remained silent for a few moments and looked deep into the young person’s eyes, then said, “Dear, they have dropped the knife. They have dropped the cruel knife most so often use upon their tender self and others.” (Ladinsky)
